A heavily featured look for fall is black eyeliner. While we saw it here and there during the spring season–Giambattista and Cavalli for example, lined eyes are definitely one of the most important trends for AW11. There’s quite a bit of variety from a strong thick upper line at Carolina Herrera to a double winged look at Armani. What is required to replicate such a look is good tools and product. Probably the easiest way is to use a liquid eyeliner pen. They are quick and efficient. If you choose a gel eye liner make sure your brush is in good condition. You can’t expect to achieve precise lines with a frayed brush. Of course a pencil will work really well especially for a strong thick line.
