In New York on Saturday night BET’s Black Girls Rock event recognized the accomplishments of black women. Among those glammed up on the red carpet were Kerry Washington, Eva Longoria, and Janelle Monae all wearing the crimson lip trend. Ciara looked rather androgynous but changed later for her performance. Lala’s look was my favourite of the night–dark eyes, pale pout, and the right amount of contouring.
