Last night I went to the Canadian pre-launch party for Manifesto the new fragrance from YSL. Jessica Chastain is the face of the new scent which combines jasmine, vanilla, wood, and tonka beans, for a very sophisticated smell. The sleek bottle design appears to be cinched at the waist with a purple ribbon, and capped with YSL’s signature gold.
Update: I’ve worn the fragrance on 2 occasions now and both times have had compliments. I love the initial spritz as it’s very vanilla, it later settles down to a woody scent, which my friend very accurately described as a nostalgic, retro aroma. Divine!
