The mood at Paul Costelloe, when I finally arrived slightly tardy, was rather jovial. The designer and models were all dancing away to a live band, which enhanced the girls flushed cheeks and created a rather dewy complexion. This collection was made for special occasions. Both the men’s and women’s wear were a mixture of beautiful tartan, wool, brocade and satin textures. Intense blues, metallics and black with pops of jewel tones made up the rich looking tailoring that Costelloe is known for. Of course I would expect nothing less of Princess Diana’s personal designer of fifteen years!
