Leah has been addicted to fashion from a very young age. Growing up in the UK she was buying Vogue & Elle from the time she was 12 years old. Years later recognizing that make up artistry was a big part of the fashion industry, she got a part time job at MAC Cosmetics and has been make up obsessed ever since. Now, as a freelance make up artist Leah works backstage at London, Milan and Paris Fashion Week. As well as having worked with various celebrity clients at Toronto International Film Festival, Canadian Country Music Awards, and the Juno’s. Leah brings her expert opinion on make up, fashion, and style to the blog she started with Lisa.

During the day Lisa works as a graphic designer at Rethink Communications. She has won many national and international awards including Communication Arts, Graphis, London International Awards and the One Show. At night Lisa works on her other obsession — makeup and fashion. Lisa started Smudge Style with Leah in the fall of 2008 and is the creative force behind this blog. Lisa blames Leah for creating her into such a makeup junkie – an addiction that is only getting worse as this blog develops.
